I’ve posted about it before, but now it’s actually materialized and is getting ready for release: The Best Creative Nonfiction, Vol. 1, coming to bookstores in July and available for pre-order on Amazon. From what I’ve seem (which admittedly isn’t a ton) there are some amazing pieces in there by a diverse and talented group of writers - how I got in remains a mystery.
So if you enjoy creative nonfiction (which, when you think about it, could be applied to 90% of nonfiction these days - though adding the qualifier increases our chances of never finding ourselves squirming through apologies on Oprah), then order a copy, or six, or ten. Oh and while you’re on Amazon, you might want to consider picking up a copy of Freakonomics - I hear it’s pretty good.
