I’ve had several requests to turn comments back on. They range from congenial statements like: “please, the comments are so funny!” to sentiments such as: “you’re just a pussy who can’t take the heat that would flood in.” Neither is untrue. I do plan to reinstate comments at some point – I fully agree they add levels of hilarity to the blog that I can only aspire to – but for now they stay off. The main reason: the emails etc. are overwhelming enough right now, and I need to get back to work (as do most of the people currently reading this I’m guessing). While I’ve done my best to put kinks in employee productivity over the past 10 months, at some point we all need to turn away from our computer screens and resume working. Myself especially.
