January 18th, 2006

Well everyone, the time for a major change has come. Enough hints and conjectures, no more anonymous posting, hiding from partners or dodging emails threatening to get me fired. As of Wednesday, January 18, I’ll be moving the blog to my own brand new site, Opinionistas.com. It will have some fun new graphics, a free subscription service to receive email updates about the blog, and the same types of posts as always. Oh, and it’ll have my real name and picture on it.

To avoid scandal, I have resigned from my position as a law firm associate. The past few posts have been back material posted as if I were still working. Yes, I know, this means I didn’t stick around to collect a bonus - the stars simply didn’t align to fill my bank account with law firm plunder. I will not state the names of any firms from my resume on the blog, you can read about them in other media.

Finally, a chance to prove once and for all that I’m not a balding middle-aged man. Then again, if I were a half-naked guy crouched at a computer in his basement, I could just snap some photos of my young female neighbor and post them on the internet. So I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it. Or read this coming Wednesday’s New York Observer article - they’re snapping my photo as well.

Comments on the blog will be temporarily suspended - it’s been over ten months now, I’d estimate that everyone’s had ample time to have their say.

Wish me luck, and see you on the other side.
